The use of a standard direct-push rig may not be possible in high traffic areas, low
clearance situations, and enclosed areas. The 540M rig (LAR) can maneuver probe
in extreme close quarters and can fit through a regular size single door.  It performs
the same operations as our Geoprobe® 5400 soil probing units including soil,
groundwater, and soil gas sampling, as well as concrete drilling. It's capable of
supplying 25,000 pounds of pulling capacity and is propane powered.
