The truck mounted Geoprobe® 5400 supplies more than 25,000 pounds pull at 2,000 psi.
The carrier vehicle consists of a 4x4 extra cab Ford F250 turbo diesal. It features a folding
cylinder, a foot cylinder, an extended cylinder, to diplace the unit in and out a distance of 20 inches from the carrier vehicle, and three seperate cylinders for displacment of the probe unit. This allows for multiple probe placements without moving the carrier vehicle. Roller bearing design provides easy lateral slide of the probing unit, up to 23.5 inches, both left and right form the center of the vehicle.
